About Noah's Corner
Noah's Corner is for our very youngest children. Alma Gamero and Rachel Thopy are our nurturing caregivers that take care of our infants and toddlers from 9 a.m. - 12 p.m.

About Genesis Class
The Genesis Class is for children three to five years old. It introduces young children to stories in the Bible and teaches about God's love, and is designed to meet the preschooler’s need for repetition and consistency. The Genesis class meets in the same room every Sunday. Children will enjoy a story, snack, art activity and play time in an environment that will meet their needs. Teachers will rotate on a monthly basis.

About Faith Trek
Faith Trek is our church school program (6 years of age - 7th grade) and is based on the workshop rotation model. This model teaches in all the best ways that children learn, meaning it is a multi-intelligence/ multi-sensory model of learning, encouraging students to fully experience the story.

Faith Trek immerses children in a Bible story over a four to five week period until the child has experienced the same story through four to five different means, such as cooking, science, art, drama, games, puppetry, storytelling, geography, computer games, Bible skills, and music. Each week, classes rotate into a different Trek (workshop). During this church school year, the children will experience ten different Bible stories this way.

Our Whole Lives
Our Whole Lives: Sexuality and Our Faith
Sexuality Education Curriculum
For Grades K-12

Sex is everywhere - our children and youth see it on TV, on the Internet, on the bus, in magazines and in music. Parents are asking for help in teaching about our precious gift of human sexuality, and most do not want sexuality education based on fear, shame and misinformation. Our Whole Lives is a life-affirming, comprehensive Christian sexuality education for the whole life span.

Based on Four Core Values:
Self-Worth
Sexual Responsibility
Sexual Health
Justice and Inclusively

Our Whole Lives: Sexuality and Our Faith:
Is Biblically and theologically linked
Is comprehensive and up-to-date information that encourages healthy, ethical and spiritual sexual decisions
Is curriculum that avoids shame-based perspectives
Emphasizes the goodness of our sexual selves
Affirms the spectrum of gender orientation and identity
Provides most current and comprehensive resource for pregnancy and disease prevention
Is insightful about what life is like for people and sexual beings of all ages, and with diverse sexual experiences, including disabilities
Age appropriate

Children's Library
The Faith Discovery Tree House, the new interactive media center, is a busy site on Sundays and sometimes during the week when there are evening church meetings. Children are excited to play faith-based computer games, plug into the new CD player and listen to Christian music, relax in a bean bag chair with a great book such as Where Does God Live? or watch a Veggie Tales movie.

The Faith Discovery Tree House was created with Memorial gifts from Gracia Harvey, Jennette Wells, Marion Akers, John and Barbara Grayson, Robert Lichtenauer, Ruth Campbell, Neva Bentle, Elizabeth Moreland, Millie Johnson, and Shirley Staton.

A wish list is posted outside the Faith Discovery Tree House if you wish to donate a book in honor of a birthday or other special occasion.

The Youth Group
The Youth Group, for grades 8-12, focuses on Bible studies and on issues important in teens' lives. Come hang out in the youth room and grab a snack and drink before class starts at 10:00 am.
