The Board for Education and Growth has supervision and direction of the educational work of the Church, for which it submits an annual budget to the Board of Trustees. It provides a system of education covering all ages and in every way seeks to meet the needs of the church for Christian education.

The board is consulted in the selection and supervision of the Director of Religious Education and the Youth or Student Minister. The Director and the Youth/Student Minister are members ex officio without vote.
