The Board for Membership and Hospitality encourages and assists members of the congregation to find meaningful ways to express their callings and grow as disciples, welcomes visitors to the Church, promotes the church in the community, encourages the assimilation of new members, and encourages deeper fellowship among members. It assists the other Standing Boards to recruit persons for Teams and Ministry tasks.

The members of the Board for Membership and Hospitality serve as the Nominating Committee for the Church. They prepare a list of nominees for elected positions designated in these bylaws and distribute such list of nominations no later than Sunday services preceding the Annual Meeting.
