Book and Magazine Exchange

Of the three important “Rs” of green living, reduce, reuse and recycle, the first two are especially important. Remember, it takes energy to recycle cans, plastic etc. into a form to be used again.

On this note, the Green Team is organizing a book and magazine exchange, which will take place on the mornings of June 15, July 20 and August 17, the third Sunday of each summer month. Bring your books and magazines to room 110 to trade.

So gather up all your books and magazines that you no longer need or want, bring them to church. Books and magazines can be brought either the 2nd and/or 3rd Sunday of each summer month, with the actual exchange taking place on the 3rd Sunday. Any leftovers can be donated to the fall rummage sale. This is a type of recycling that doesn’t require any extra energy!
